Short Meditations to Re-set Your Day

An excellent way to get out of your head.

If you’re overthinking, worrying or just can’t get out of a head funk I highly recommend trying a short meditation to reset you. These meditations totally restart my brain in the way waking up and starting a new day feels. I can’t tell you how much better I feel after listening to one.I highly recommend the app Insight Timer. It’s free and there are so many mediations & different creators of meditations that you’re bound to find something that works for you. They also offer courses which you have to pay for but you can listen to individual meditations, music & talks on the free app as much as you like.

1. Sarah Blondin: Learning to Surrender (8 minutes)

This is my favourite meditation at the moment. My go-to way to spend 8 minutes if I feel like I’m getting nowhere or if my head is a bit too loud with thought. Sarah Blondin is available on Insight Timer or you can listen to her on her liveawake podcast. Both are free.The blurb that goes with the track: This meditation helps us let go of our worries and fears. It reminds us that we are supported and that life is unfolding just as it should.

2. Sarah Blondin: Loving & Listening to yourself (13 minutes)

This is a lovely soothing meditation if you’re feeling a little low and in need of a big hug.The blurb that goes with the track: This episode explores the value, importance and trans-formative power of Self Love.

3. Sarah Blondin: Learning to honour our rhythms & cycles (9 minutes)

When you’re feeling exhausted, overworked or burntout this is a great way to get a new perspective.The blurb that goes with the track: All life needs time bellow the surface, where it can breathe itself full and round, where it can reconnect with its nature and sprout again in its flushed form.

4. Sarah Blondin: Making Your Life Sacred (12 minutes)

This episode explores how your life can be transformed by creating sacred space for all you go through.
